3-5 Program
Our 3-5 year Old Program is set-up in a way that the learning experiences are natural and fun for all children who participate! Our program is facilitated by qualified Early Childhood Teachers who are constantly observing the environment to ensure the best learning experience possible!
Charlotte
Hello, I am Charlotte. I was born and raised in England. I moved to Canada in 2017. I obtained my Masters Degree in Education from the UK, as well as a Bachelors in Drama. I am passionate about teaching young children and helping them to develop into amazing little humans. I managed a daycare in the UK for 5 years. Then came here to continue my teaching career.
I love to spend time exploring outside and especially love to play in the rain. (Vancouver is perfect for this!)
I enjoy baking and creating masterpieces out of cake. I recently took up knitting and crochet to help me relax after a long day at work. I can be a very hands on person when learning new crafts.

I love all things Dog related, and spend lots of time out with my dogs Esther and Penny. Both of the dogs and I do agility training on the weekends to keep us focussed and active.
Hi, I’m Lissa. My family and I have moved to this beautiful province from Montreal.
I’ve been raising kids, and in the education field for half my life now. Once completing my studies as a certified Daycare Educator in Québec. I worked in the school district. My work with the school district has given me the opportunity to attend several ASD workshops and I have gained a lot of experience with special needs, and inclusivity. I have my ECE Licence to practice here in BC.
When I’m not with your children, I’m usually with my own. I’m a proud mum of 3 boys. We love walking on the trails, biking, hiking, and finding secret beaches and parks to picnic. I enjoy everything outdoors, rain or shine! I find BC incredibly inspiring, and its environment humbling.
Children are my life, and I feel extremely grateful to be part of the Creative Kids family.

Penny
Hi My name is Penny. I was born in December 2024. I joined the team in February 2025. I am a Miniature Australian shepherd, full of energy, and always wanting to play.

I love to chase my toys when the children throw them.
​
My favourite thing is snuggling and cuddling. I often lay with the children at nap time, to catch up on some much needed sleep.

I am also enrolled in Agility, with my big sister Esther, and love to run around.
Hi, I'm Lauren!
I was born and raised right here in the tri-cities, and grew up going to schools within the SD43 school district.
​
I started my journey at Creative Kids in January 2024 while completing my ECE practicum, and started working full time in the 3-5 program in March 2024. I am very passionate about working with children and am very excited for what my future holds in this field!

​​Outside of work, I enjoy road tripping to Whistler to Ski and explore, spending time with my family, and love crafting at home.

Esther
I am Esther, I was born in February 2020. I am a Miniature Australian Shepherd, who loves to support children within the centre. My Human is Miss. Charlotte, she brings me to the centre to work with the children. I began Agility training in 2021, and hope to develop my skills.
​
I have completed many training sessions, and attend Agility, where I am pretty fast, love to jump and explore the tunnels on different courses.

I love to play chasing games, and play with frisbees. I am super friendly and love to meet new people. As I am getting older I am very protective over the daycare, and will keep all of the children safe.
